What's on my face? March

I don't often change my makeup look up drastically, particularly not for a day to day look. However I do like to give little nods to the seasons within my neutral look which I think is a nice way to do it for normal girls who don't have time to get dolled up every day!

I have definitely been getting into the Spring spirit this month: I've enjoyed my first day outside this year without a coat, worn plently of pastels on the nails and purchased oodles of lighter and brighter makeup items! It was never going to be long until it made it's way to my face...

Without futher delay, my most favourite Spring addition this month is the YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick in 33 Rose Neillia from their Spring Collection and I have really been loving this. It's such a lovely flattering, pop of colour, so light and undetectable in texture and effortlessly chic on the lips – if you're looking for a Spring lip look, don't search any further! I've also been going for a nice creme blush which is very unlike me but I do think it does make for a way fresher look (although probably best avoided if you've got naturally oily skin). I've been reaching for Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in Soft Pink which is a beautiful light rosy pink that I find very flattering on my skin tone. I just lightly dab this on, starting at the apples of my cheeks and spreading up along my cheek bones. The packaging is super tiny and cute but nonetheless this is already lasting a life time – it's absolutely fab value!

The Laura Mercier Foundation Primer is a new addition to my makeup bag but I have been really enjoying using this so far as a replacement for my Benefit Porefessional. This has been a great lighter feeling alternative as it's water-based so just feels so much nicer and more hydrating on the skin. Plus it promises never to clog my pores and I can't say no to clearer skin for Summer! Finally, I've really never got in to liquid eyeliner however I've really been starting to like my winged eyes and it's all thanks to the Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner Pen ... I've dabbled in pen eyeliners before but always find them tugging on my eyelids and drying out really easily but so far so good with this baby! Since I've been going for a cleaner, less smoky look on my eyes, I  find the winged eyeliner just really helps make sure my eyes are framed nicely without looking too dark and dusky – big thumbs up from me! Everything else in here I'm sure I've blabbed on about before but that's because they're all some of my favourite items in the world – deets below :)

I hope you enjoyed guys :)
